Happy Spring to all our HPN members!We hope that you had a wonderful Easter, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. And as we celebrate Tax Day on April 15th we know that the year is flying by. Let’s pray for Hollywood now that tax preparations are behind us.

• Join Isaack in trusting God for healing, restoration and forgiveness in his marriage

PRAISES:
• Thank the Lord for the 168 Hour Festival, which was a great success. And thanks to the 100 HPN prayer warriors who prayed for the 80 film teams, the staff and the whole event. You made an eternal difference!
UPDATES:
• Let's keep praying for the one specific person in the industry whom you chose to pray for in February, along with the industry professionals in general. It¹s just as important to pray for people we don’t know personally, as it is to pray for our friends and family. All of your prayers are having a life-changing effect on every person you pray for!
• Good-bye to Ceci and Brad, who have been the most awesome interns in the world. We are so thankful to LAFSC for sending them to us. “We will miss you greatly, but we’re praying for you to spread the message of Hope for Hollywood to everyone you know back at school!”
REQUESTS:
• HPN has had to tighten our reigns and so we have to say good-bye to our wonderful Gloria Vives, who has been our Prayer Partner Coordinator for the past 3 years! She has impacted thousands of lives while at HPN by matching our “I to I Prayer Partnerships” which are now up to almost 1,300! Would you pray that the Lord leads Gloria to the perfect next step in fulfilling her heart of ministry in Hollywood. If she touched your life, take a moment and let her know at Gloria@hpnemail.org. Also, pray that we can do as good a job at matching partners as Gloria did.

1. Pray for renewed HOPE in the global entertainment industry
2. Pray for industry professionals to seek and find TRUTH
3. Pray for industry professionals to experience God's ABUNDANT LIFE
4. Pray for industry professionals, both Christians and pre-Christians, to experience God's PEACE that surpasses understanding
5. Pray for artists to understand their role as PROPHETS in our culture
• Let’s pray for the Biola Media Conference that is coming up on Saturday, May 1st at CBS Studio Center in Studio City. It’s the largest gathering of Christian media professionals in the world and this year’s theme is “Worlds Collide – Finding Answers In Today’s Media Chaos.” People of all faiths attend and the content is rich, so let’s ask the Lord to use the event for His glory, to connect believers in the industry, and to gain visibility as a community. Please pray that it will be sold out, that everything will run smoothly and professionally, and for strength and wisdom for the leaders, Kathleen and Peggy. • Pray for actor Neal McDonough, who lost his job from ABC’s new series “Scoundrels” last week, because he refused to do the sex scene. As a Christian, Neal stood his ground and they chose to replace him with an actor who was willing to carry out the steamy scene. Let’s pray for Neal to have favor and to be a positive witness as he stands firm on this position.
• Pray for Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey who just broke up after living together for years. Jim has helped to raise Jenny’s autistic son. Let’s ask the Lord to turn this into a time to bring them both closer to Him and to strong Christian friends. I know He can use this for His glory.
• Pray for Tiger Woods and the message he’s sending the world by publicly discussing his Buddhism as the means of getting through this difficult time. May he not be satisfied until he finds Jesus! having many affairs. She got an understanding of Jesus while shooting “The Blind Side” with the Tuohy family, so may she turn to Him to get through this horrible season. And pray for Jesse as well. He needs the Lord more than ever to find fulfillment in his life.
• Please pray with us as we gather for The National Day of Prayer on May 6. This year Entertainment Ministries and Local Churches are uniting at Bel Air Presbyterian Church to pray for our nation, our state, our city, our churches & our entertainment industry.
