The Atlanta chapter of Hollywood Prayer Network (ATL HPN) was established in 2002 and has been praying and interceding for Georgia’s entertainment community and Hollywood ever since. Comprised of both industry professionals as well as those who understand the importance of prayer for the industry, ATL HPN is making an impact through the power of prayer.

 

ATL HPN intercessors regularly pray via requests that are sent and posted to the email group, participate in a monthly ATL HPN prayer conference call and represent HPN at events and conferences upon request. Members of ATL HPN are available to be onsite at such events for prayer and intercession and/or to share information about the ministry. Director Cassandra Hollis has spoken about the need for prayer for Hollywood at many events including the National Day of Prayer event at Georgia State Capitol (2006, 2010), the National Day of Prayer Event for City of Roswell (2012), and AMTC’s SHINE event in Orlando , FL (2013).

 

“Since we began praying and interceding back in 2002, we have seen Georgia go from a place with very little or sporadic film and television productions to one of the top destinations for film and TV productions in the country. We have consistently prayed for more work here and are amazed by what the Lord has done,” says Director Cassandra Hollis. “We encourage actors, directors, writers, producers, and everyone to contact ATL HPN to join the chapter and/or to send in prayer requests and we will PRAY.”

AMTC Shine & HPN Atlanta!

• Cassandra Hollis, our HPN Atlanta Local Chapter Director, represented HPN at the annual AMTC SHINE event last week, and it was a hit. AMTC is a ministry for actors in Murietta, GA, and having them include HPN in the conference was so encouraging. This is an answer to our prayer for working with other ministries across the country. Cassandra said, “It was a great experience. The presence of the Lord just reigned throughout the conference. The biggest blessing of all was praying for the performers 'on the spot' right there at our HPN table!” HPN thanks Carey Lewis at AMTC for inviting us and Cassandra at ATL HPN for making it happen.
