The Center For Prayer is a refuge, a training center, and a place for prayer. The Center for Prayer provides a setting in which individuals experience and are taught the dynamics of the Holy Spirit, allowing them to be set free and transformed. Their programs equip people in healing, intercessory prayer and personal devotion, spiritual warfare and Worship Foundations.

The combination of these two components: (1) the Cleansing Stream Seminar and (2) the Cleansing Stream Seminar Regional Retreat have proven to be highly effective. Through it, many believers have walked to a new level of freedom, maturity and commitment. The Seminar itself consists of five teaching sessions. Each of the session teachings has accompanying homework: a workbook, book or audio tapes, as well as an assignment for Bible reading, prayer, and worship. The Regional Retreat is two days (Friday and Saturday). The Lord will bless what he plants and grows to be used for his Glory A prayer ministry aimed at encouraging Christians across the world to pray for both the Christian and non-Christian professionals in Hollywood so that we can change Hollywood and the product it produces through prayer.

You work one on one with 3-4 of our prayer ministers at different times. Each one specializing in a different area or having a different focus, i.e., ancestral, familial and generational curses, inner children, habit changes, deliverance and freedom from the enemy, healing prayer and blessings. We only accept 4-6 people for intensives per month so we can devote the needed time and energy to them and so that our in-house prayer team, S.W.A.T. (Spiritual Warfare Attack Team) can focus on intercession for the specific needs of the intensive clients. Maybe this year the best vacation you can give yourself is a week intensive (9-11 hours at our ministry center and homework in-between) and find the freedom to be the person God created you to be and the work God is calling you to do.

We believe that Jesus Christ still heals the broken-hearted and sets captives free. There are over 400 affiliates across the USA and Canada and the ministry is overseen by Rev. Bob Larson and Rev. Paul Cooprider. The LA minstry is run by Rev. Tim Williams. This is a volunteer Christian Prayer ministry that takes you through inner healing and deliverance. We meet weekly and there is no cost. Shepherd's House
Shepherd’s House 626.794.3670 www.lifemodel.org	Shepherd's House is a prayer ministry in Pasadena that has a fairly long history. It began about 25-30 years ago with a staff of professional counselors including Jim Wilder (who is the current director) and Jane Willard (wife of Dallas Willard). They developed a comprehensive model (called the "Life Model") that describes how God designed humans to grow up and mature and live well. It includes developmental considerations as well as restorative measures, including inner healing prayer. If the need for deliverance comes up, that can be dealt with, but that is not the focus. It is a fairly holistic model, and as such avoids a lot of the problems that more narrowly focused ministries run into. The Life Model has been translated into multiple languages, and has been distributed by other ministries that have found it helpful as well, including Elijah House and YWAM. They currently have five prayer ministers on staff in addition to Jim (who is on an indefinite sabbatical writing books).

UPFH holds semi-annual Prayer Summits for leaders connected with Houses of Prayer, Healing Rooms & Hollywood. UPFH helps to organize, every three months, the gatherings for 'Hollywood Transformation Coalition', where Hollywood Leaders worship, pray & fellowship, held at First Presbyterian of Hollywood in the 'Cellar'.

Known as the Hollywood Transformation Coalition, a once-every-three-months all day worship/prayer and networking gathering takes place at Hollywood Presbyterian for ministry leaders and Christians in media. An instructional video titled "Hollywood Transformation: the power of prayer" was presented in South Africa during the fall of 2002 to hundreds of prayer leaders from around the world. The Hollywood Transformation website presents updated information concerning ministry initiatives dedicated to help transform Hollywood.
