Welcome to the Hollywood Prayer Network Studio Prayer Walks!  Every Friday, Industry Christians, along with Christian Studio Lot hosts, go on a "prayer walk" at a particular studio to pray for this crazy industry!  We’d love to have you, a member of Christ's body, join with us.  It is our passion to see God reach the Arts and Entertainment industry.  What better way to influence and love these people to Jesus than through one of the greatest weapons God has given us--PRAYER!!!

Prayer Walks are currently at the following studios: Universal, Paramount, CBS Television City, Warner Brothers, Fox, and Disney.  At each studio, there is a fellow brother or sister in Christ who acts as the Prayer Walk host.  Because so much of the industry is very antagonistic towards Christians and any Christian activity, we feel it VERY IMPORTANT to not jeopardize, in any way, the jobs of our Christian hosts at each studio or the Prayer Walk itself.

Here's how the system works-- Each Monday, we send a general prayer walk notice notifying everyone where that week's Friday Studio Lot Prayer Walk will be.  Please notify us by Thursday if you would like to come. Then on that Thursday (the day before the walk) we will email you the Friday Prayer Walk logistical details to you.

We ask all those who are new to the prayer walks to PLEASE take a moment to thoroughly read the Prayer Walk Guidelines below before attending your first prayer walk.

Also, if you work on Friday's you can still join us in prayer. Take your lunch hour, or simply a few minutes at your desk to pray with us!

Please be sensitive to not raise any suspicion with the Security Guards by asking a lot of questions or making them go through a lot of hassle which could potentially get the hosts or the Prayer Walk in trouble.

For example:  If they are unable to locate your name, give them the host's NAME and DEPARTMENT.  If trouble arises beyond this, then kindly excuse yourself and call the host.

What to expect and do at a Prayer Walk:

• Once everyone arrives, we will break up into smaller groups of 2 or 3 so as to not draw too much attention.
• Please do NOT approach any  "stars" or "famous" people as this is even a required policy of the employees of the Studio Lots.
• The studio host and others who work on the lot may share helpful requests for what specifically needs to be prayed for at that studio.
• We understand that people come from many different denominations and therefore, have many different styles and methods of  praying.  Given that we are guests on the studio lots, we must be sensitive with our dialogue and mannerisms.  Be mindful of what you say when anyone walks by OR when walking by actors' trailers.  An important objective while we pray is to blend in and not be noticed.

Please keep prayer focused to the industry. 

For example: 

• God to bring revival to the industry "Body" and unbelievers alike
• Unite and mature the body of Christ in the industry
• Understanding and support from the Christian community outside the Arts and Entertainment industry
• Any specific shows on that studio lot
• Above and below the line folks who work there
• Christians who work there
• Various celebrities
• Breaking down the "Enemy's" strongholds

Again, the purpose is to pray for this industry!

Please DO NOT BE LATE! Please be sensitive to our prayer walk Hosts' time.  This is their lunch hour they are giving up (For the Warner Brothers walk, please DO NOT COME if you are late. No one is allowed to walk on the lot by themselves or it could get our hosts in trouble.) It would be of great help to us if you would please do these two things if you are running late:

• First, call the host and let him or her know you are running late (be sure you are able to get in contact with them).  Then they can decide if you should come or not.
• Secondly, if you have tried to contact the host but are not able to get them, please DO NOT come to the walk.  Again, my greatest priority is to honor our hosts and to make sure either they or the prayer walks are never put in any awkward or potentially detrimental situation.
• If you get a job last minute (the day of), please give advanced cancellation notice to the prayer walk host so they are not waiting for you.  Also, without this, others are prevented from joining us.
