Prayer Requests

Please pray for the Narnia cast and crew, who are filming The Voyage of the Dawn Treader through November. Pray for the salvation of those who aren't Christians. [Pray for divine appointments!] And pray for everyone's health, safety, and wisdom.

18-year-old British actor Skandar Keynes plays Edmund in the Chronicles of Narnia. Right now, he's in Australia filming The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Like his parents, he is an atheist and believes in evolution. His father's book-turned-movie "Creation" [about Charles Darwin] premiered in the UK last month. The Lord laid a burden on my heart for Skandar in January. Please pray for his salvation! Pray that God opens his eyes and ears, softens his heart, and draws him to the Word. Pray for godly influences in Skandar's life. Pray for a divine appointment. Pray that God brings him out of darkness and into light. And pray that Skandar follows in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, not those of his father or of Darwin.

Hi, I'm Justine, and this is my very first post here. I just wanted to ask for prayer as I work toward being able to minister to the people in Hollywood. I really believe that God wants me to be a missionary there, but I'm not really sure what that looks like. And I know that whatever it looks like, it's going to be hard. Please pray that God will show me what to do in the near future and that He will give me courage and strength to do it. I really have a love for the people in Hollywood and I want to tell them about God, but I need the support of prayer to get there and to do God's will when I get there. Please pray that God will grow my faith and give me more of a passion for those people. I really want to see them saved and I just know that I have to be a part of that somehow. Please pray that as I search for God's will in my life I listen to Him and not any earthly desires. I pray that I may be used for His will as I look for where to work and live. Thank you.

I lived in California since 2006. Until, july of 2008 I became a victim of campus violence at the Arts Institute in Hollywood. I've been back to Texas where I am from, since the incident. This july I had the privelage of traveling to hollywood with the performing arts group AWAM. God totally healed my heart and rekindled my love for Hollywood. I feel led to come back in January, and would love prayer for strength, wisdom, and confirmation. Thank you and many blessings to you all!

Eight months ago, the Lord burdened my heart to begin praying for the salvation of Ben Barnes, who rose to prominence as Prince Caspian in the 2008 film of the same name. Until I joined HPN, I didn't know anyone else prayed for actors! I have been unable to find any information on his spiritual background; however, I do know that Voyage of the Dawn Treader is filming now until November 2009. Mr. Barnes is continuing in his role as Caspian in that film. Please pray that a Christian on the cast or crew of the film will have the courage and wisdom to live out an authentic witness--in deed and word--before Mr. Barnes, and that God would open his heart to the Gospel. Please also pray that God would call Mr. Barnes to witness in the UK and US film communities, and that he would be preserved from personal life decisions that would push him away from God.
