It's JUNE and summer has begun for students across America.  Let’s pray for the people behind the films that are coming out this month, along with all of the hurting people in our industry whose heartbreaking stories in the news break our hearts. And HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL OF YOU DADS!  Be sure to pray for YOUR dad this month.

SUMMARY:

•  Praise God for all of the good fathers in Hollywood, who have loved their children
•  Praise God that our HPN KIDS and TEENS PRAYER CALENDARS are being viewed
•  HPN's Local Chapters are growing, with 51 chapters around the world
•  HPN needs a group of male intercessors to pray for male Christian media pros
•  As our children are watching media this summer, let’s pray for them to be wise
•  Pray for Steve Jobs as he fights to keep pornography OFF all Apple products
•  Pray for the family and wife, Shannon Price, of Gary Coleman, who died last month
•  Pray for the family members and friends of Dennis Hopper who died in May
•  Pray for Miley Cyrus and her parents as she comes out with “Can’t Be Tamed”
•  Pray for Lindsay Lohan who has to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet
•  Please pray for Ted Koppel as he grieves his 40 year old son Andrew’s death
•  Pray for Bret Michaels, the American singer, best known as the lead in Poison
•  Let’s pray for the protection and wisdom of Ex-Scientologist Amy Scobee
•  "Would you please pray for the students graduating with Film degrees this month
•  Pray for Celine Dion who is going to have a baby, after much prayer from MN HPN

Dear HPN Prayer Team,

It’s March and we’re ready to Praise God, thank Him and ask Him some requests from Hollywood for this beautiful Spring month. However, it’s been a month of tragedy for many Hollywood professionals and the number of suicides is indicative of our spiritually starving community. Without Jesus there is no hope. Let’s pray:

SUMMARY:

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO HPN PRAYER-ERS!

We are so glad to be back after a joyful Christmas season.  Our whole staff went in different directions to see family and we came back full of thanks for all we have, and excitement for what God has in store for this New Year.  Because I saw lots of movies over the holidays, I have a new passion to start the New Year in prayer for the cultural influencers of the world and the entertainment they create! And January is Awards month, so let's pray!

SUMMARY:

• We praise God for all of you who generously gave HPN a donation in 2009
• We praise God for our new HPN TEENS Prayer Calendar
• We need more female industry pros to pray for and male intercessors to pray
• Keep praying for Tiger and Elin Woods. They need to experience God's love
• Pray for the people in Hollywood who battle with FEAR
• Pray for Johnny Depp, who just won "Favorite Movie Actor of the Decade"
• Pray for the family of Roy Disney, Walt Disney's nephew, who died Dec. 17th
• The 67th annual Golden Globe Awards is coming up this Sunday, Jan. 17th
• Pray for the gathering of filmmakers at the 26th annual Sundance Film Festival
• The 52nd annual Grammy Awards show will be on January, 31st
• Please pray for all of the potential nominees for the 2010 Academy Awards
• Pray for the annual 168th Film Festival as they rev up to produce 80 short films
• Will you pray this month for one person in Hollywood every day for 30 days?
• Pray with our Miami Chapter Dir. as they lift up HPN members in Florida
• Pray for all the new Bible studies, classes and prayer groups coming up in LA

MERRY CHRISTMAS!  Wow, has this year gone fast!  We are looking forward to time away with our families and hope that you have joyful plans as well.  This month, let's pray for the families of the Hollywood professionals and ask the Lord to pour down His joy and peace over our industry this season!

SUMMARY:

• Praise God for the encouraging responses to our HPN 2009 Update
• Keep praying for Carl Swenson, who is still courageously battling cancer
• Continue praying for the industry professionals who are still out of work
• Pray for decisions during nominating season for the Academy Awards
• Pray for Morgan Freeman ("Invictus"), his heart and his relationships
• We must pray for Tiger Woods and his wife and children
• Pray for the "celebrities" in our industry who are falling morally
• Pray for Sandra Bullock, who's film, "The Blind Side," is a smash hit
• Pray for the industry professionals who are lonely this Christmas
• Pray for the secular media professionals to meet solid believers
• Pray for the presence of Jesus to be more present in Bollywood
• Check out our upcoming events and ways to give to HPN this season

Welcome to our THANKSGIVING month of prayer. Our focus this month is on thanking God for all He is and gives and does for us. Let's remind those around us to be thankful to the Lord for His blessings, goodness and love! And thank YOU for praying with us!

• Thank God for what He did at the American Film Market
• Thank God for Steve Turner and Bruce Wilkinson's visits

• Pray for Christians to overcome spiritual battles
• Pray for writer Paul Haggis as he leaves Scientology
• Pray for Thanksgiving to focus on thanks to GOD here

• Pray for the Chronicles of Narnia's cast and crew

Dear HPN members, 

It’s October already – the leaves are changing, orange lights and decorations are starting to appear in LA and we have lots to pray for. Let’s respond to this Halloween month with prayers specifically for the Christians and for others in Hollywood who don’t yet know him.
