HAPPY NEW YEAR HPN!
It is 2012 and a great year to expect miracles from the Lord. Let’s start by praying BIG prayers for the entertainment industry and then watch God do incredible things! This month we’re highlighting many inspirational people to help you recognize the quality people that God has brought to our industry. We hope this will expand your vision of what God is doing in the world’s most influential mission field.
SUMMARY:
• Praise God that HPN had an encouraging end of the year in 2011• We thank God for our friend Andy Erish and his answered prayer
• Praise God for two dear friends celebrating their mile stone birthdays
• Praise God that Christians are having a major impact on the advertising world
• There are now two established houses of prayer in Hollywood
• The 69th annual Golden Globes is tonight, Sunday, Jan. 15th
• January 24th is the day to announce this year’s Oscar nominations
• Mastermedia Intl. has called February 26th a day to pray for the Media
• Pray for Christian model Nicole Weider
• Pray for Katy Perry and Russell Brand as they end their 14 month marriage
• Pray for celebrity philanthropists in Hollywood to be great role models
• Pray for peace and comfort for the friends and family of Scotty Dugan
• Chosen People Ministries will be launching two initiatives in LA

Dear HPN members, 
This is our FAVORITE season of the year. It's CHRISTMAS!!!! This month, let’s focus on JESUS in our thoughts, our conversations and our decisions. Let’s take time to tell someone about Jesus who has never heard the Good News before! 
SUMMARY:• HPN has so much to be thankful for this year• Praise God for all of the answered prayers we’ve seen this year in Hollywood• Pray for the people nominating this year’s films, that they may have wisdom• HPN needs more intercessors• Pray for the Jewish people this Hanukkah, which begins Dec. 20th• Pray for the family and friends of music executive John Atterberry• Pray that the Christians in Hollywood will be generous givers this Christmas• Pray for six new Christian TV writers who will be chosen for The Poiema Project• Pray for the New Christian Women in Media / LA! Group• Pray for the people involved in the films coming out this Christmas• In the Spirit of giving, we would love to invite you to our 2012 HPN Challenge!

Happy Thanksgiving to our HPN pray-ers,
Since it’s Thanksgiving we’re going to spend this month PRAISING and THANKING GOD for all that is going on in Hollywood and for the many wonderful people in our Christian community here. The people below represent thousands of talented, faithful professionals and Christians in the Hollywood Entertainment Industry. Would you join us in thanking Him for everything He’s doing and everyone He’s given us in our industry?
SUMMARY:
• Praise God for seven ways He is blessing our industry and community
• Praise God for seven of our HPN Local Chapter Directors around the world
• Thank God for screener season
• Thank God for the people who work at Theme Parks across the world
• Thank God for Christians who are producing independent films
• Thank the Lord that some parts of the business are doing well
• Thank God for creative people who also use their art to reach out to others
• Thank God that TV can be used to honor people
• Thank God for the gift of entertainment
• Thank God for Christians who understand how important Hollywood is to Him
• Thank the Lord for his miraculous healing hand

Dear HPN Pray-ers,
We had a great month in September and look forward to another wonderful month coming up. God is so faithful and He has been doing exciting things in our industry and especially in our community. We want to focus on praising Him this month. Let’s pray!

• Praise God for Robert Downey Jr. asking his peers to forgive Mel Gibson
• Keep praying for Justin Bieber and his mom Pattie as they tour South America
• Pray for Laurene Powell Jobs and her four children, after the loss of Steve Jobs
• Pray for Gerard Butler as Sam Childers in "MACHINE GUN PREACHER"
• Pray for Oprah Winfrey and Rosie O’Donnell as they start their new TV ventures
• Pray for the people at the film studios who don’t have an ethical or moral compass
• Pray for the growing interest in Hollywood for "inspirational” films
• Let’s pray for our kids who mass consume all forms of entertainment
• Pray for the growth and eternal effectiveness of the new 24/7 Prayer Room
• Pray for Seth, who is starting a church for people in Adult entertainment

Happy September,
It’s a beautiful September in Southern California and yet there are so many hurting people here needing our prayers. We want to remind you that you are making an eternal difference by praying for the people, the projects and the powerful influence of Hollywood and we look forward to your prayers this month…

• Praise God for the fabulous Sept. 8th Quarterly HPN Prayer and Praise night
• Oct. 6th is the first ever, collaborative friend/fund raiser with other ministries
• Let’s pray for Justin Bieber, and his girlfriend Selena Gomez
• Pray for Steve Jobs, who just resigned as CEO of Apple in August
• The Toronto International Film Festival, or TIFF, opened this year on Sept. 8th
• Pray for the damage that runaway production has caused our industry

HAPPY EASTER! April is the month in 2011 for celebrating the glorious Resurrection of our Lord! Let’s invite our friends and family, no matter what they believe, to join us as we gather this Easter.
