What a glorious season to be praying for the world's most influential people. We want them to encounter Jesus as their Savior - (the one powerful enough to come to earth as) that little baby born in the manger. May He touch hearts this month like never before!

Dear HPN members, It's THANKSGIVING time and there is so much to be thankful for! Let's make this month a time of thankfulness to our Lord, for all of our abundance, for His love, provision and strength. And may we pray for all those who don't yet know Him, that they can experience His love and be truly full of thanks during the Thanksgiving season.

It's October, with Halloween, and the big pre-election month flurry. Hollywood is revved up with political movies coming out and celebrities taking stands. Let's pray that Jesus is lifted up this month in the world's most influential mission field. It's time for us to fall before our Lord and tell Him that we need Him desperately - - for that's just where He wants us!

September is here and so is school, Fall weather and new TV shows! What
a great time to pray for our community as a new season springs up.
Thanks for praying with us for Hollywood.....
SUMMARY:
- PRAISE to God for Joe Eszterhas, a Hollywood screenwriter who became a Christian
- HPN "I to I" prayer partnerships are growing to almost 1,000 but we need more
- HPN has received more generous donations to help match our MATCHING GRANT
- The new 2008-2009 TV season has begun. Please be wise in watching and pray
- David William Duchovny, TV actor has checked in to rehab and needs prayer
- Scientology is a leading force of evil in Hollywood and also in France
- Pray for Will Smith's upcoming partnership with Randall Wallace
- Davita, in our Bollywood Chapter, asks us to pray for Hindu mobs
- Heidi from Minneapolis Local Chapter asks us to pray for Michael Ireland
- Pray for the upcoming events in Hollywood who lift up and encourage artists
- The National Media Prayer Breakfast is now being held on March 6, 2009

HPN prayer-ers,
It's August and it's beautiful in L.A. Did you know that Los Angeles is "The City of The Angels" and angels are messengers? And we send messages out of this city to the whole world every moment of every day. There are no coincidences in God's economy. So, let's pray this month that some day all of the messages will glorify Him, because the hearts of the people creating the messages have all accepted Him and His loving message. Let's pray that present messages that do not glorify God will be redeemed and that until they are, people will be protected from them.
SUMMARY:
- Praise God that HPN has a matching grant to help us meet our financial needs
- Continue to pray for Heath Ledger's family as "Dark Knight" breaks box office records
- Pray for Zachary Levi as he begins a new season of the hit TV series "Chuck"
- Pray for the families of Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes who both passed away
- Pray for the friends, peers and family of Bernie Brillstein who also died
- Pray for the people involved in the new TV season, which begins in September
- Pray for the athletes and media involved in the 2008 Beijing Olympics
- Pray that HPN can find more Intercessors around the world to pray for us
- Prayer for Hollywood every Thurs night at 7pm
- The 33rd Annual Toronto International Film Festival opens Sept. 4th
- Act One hosts "A Conversation on Visual Storytelling in the 21st Century"

The networks have their stages full of TV shows, taping episodes like mad trying to make up for the 3 month WGA strike. The feeling of hope in the air, so let's pray for all that's to come in our industry this month.
SUMMARY:
- Listen to a radio interview from the successful Twin Cities Pastors Breakfast
- HPN’s FIRST FRIDAYS 24/1 is launched! Pray with us the 1st Friday of each month
- Warner Bros. didn’t lay off the 1,000 employees that they threatened to let go
- Continue to pray for Carl Vogel's son Luke who is paralyzed
- Please pray for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards on Saturday, March 29
- Pray that SAG won’t go on strike on June 30th
- The networks are already starting to choose this year’s TV pilot season
- Drew Barrymore is donating $1 million to help fight hunger
- Pray for the Actor’s Co-Op and their change of leadership
- Steven Spielberg is said to be launching an online social network on aliens
